Plugin releases

Hi,
In this week i released the plugins new version.

The most important thing is the exporter format is changed. I implement a new feature (Separate by elements), that was why I needed it.

So you need update the importer plugin if you use the exporter. The full change-log is available here. They contains lot of bugfixes, and many improvements, so i recommend to use it.

And one more thing. In Cinema 4D R21 the plugin licensing was changed, because C4D licensing was changed.

Din3D importer for Cinema 4D

Din3D files are quickly and simply imported in MAXON Cinema 4D. There is a direct link to ArchiCAD. Replacement of changed model is also possible while all the material settings and other changes remain.

The objective of the development of this file format was that it could, as much as possible, provide the visualization programs with the information of the structure and hierarchy of ArchiCAD beside the 3D model. The model was complemented C4D, this information did not lose in the upgrade. Very fast plugin.

Note: Not compatible with AC4D and AC4D+ formats.

Features

Selective importing The following ArchiCAD’s content can be imported:

Usage of different filter levels You can use these filters, either individually or in combination.

  • Import ArchiCAD objects as single objects.
  • In addition, it is possible to import ArchiCAD objects as ‘Instances’.
Polygon optimization.
  • The importer can be used the built-in Cinema 4D optimizations (currently)

  • Unicode support: different language characters can be received correctly from ArchiCAD.
  • Fast model update
  • The importer saves the complete import settings.
  • Useful Tags in update method
  • A few useful commands that make it easier for small daily use.

Download and try Din3D importer plugin for Cinema 4D.
In Demo version you can import 10 times, but model update is not possible. Din3D is available now for 39 Euros in webshop.

Remember that the importer plugin itself is good for nothing. To use it, you’ll need the exporter as well. The Din3D exporter for ArchiCAD is available free of charge.

Din3D importer for Cinema 4D is not working correctly in full mode, when your Cinema 4D is offline. So please use the plugin in C4D with online licensing.

Registration Din3D importer for Cinema 4D

Installation

The installation is only unpacking the file in to your Cinema 4D plugins folder.

If you don’t have plugins folder in your C4D root folder, please create it.

  • Please install the appropriate plugin version.
  • Don’t have multiple plugin versions in the plugins folder at the same time.
  • Please don’t mix different versions of files.

 

Registration

Generate your C4D license information

After purchase, please generate your C4D license information. This is possible in two ways:

  • The first way. Run Extension menu Tools -> Export Licensing Overview.. command

  • The second way. Open Din3D Licensing dialog with Extension menu Din3D -> License... command.

    And select Generate license request File... command and push the Execute Command button.

Send license request file

This file has to have content approximetly the following.

Send this file to sales@din3d.org. (link sends e-mail). Within a short time (usually within 24-48 hours) you will get an email from us with *.lic license file attached. Save this file on your hard disk.

 

Load the received license file

Start again your C4D program. And navigate to Din3D Licensing dialog (with Extension menu Din3D -> License..).

Load Din3D License

Select Load Din3D License File... command and push the Execute Command button.

In the dialogue box, select the *.lic file you received from us. And restart your C4D program. With this the registration procedure is over.

 

Registration process:

When the C4D starts, then open the registration dialog. You can paste the received serial to the infield.

 

Registration problems:

If you have a registration problem, Please try for Help menu Personalize... command

And please check in the infield contain the unnecesarry whitespaces (before and after whitespaces)

Cinema 4D R15

Hi

The Cinema 4D R15 version released in early september from Maxon.
Din3D plugin R14 version completely work in the R15 version. But i complied with R15.
Only one improvement included: Sort in Separated Objects dialog.
The downloadable files put in storage cloud. Let us know if problem detected.

Changes in the C4D plugin license terms

Hi!

As many people complained that the license should not be connected to the computer, it has also changed. From now  the registration code links to your own Cinema 4D serial first 11 digits (similar to the other plugin)  .
R14 plugin released. Besides many small adjustment finished on each plugin. Please update your importer and exporter.
